Great news, Community Sport can resume soon for those who are fully vaccinated. To enable us to get back on the court as soon as possible we have decided to run a COVID-Safe doubles competition before we resume our regular teams competitions.

Contact Mark if you are vaccinated and would like to join the reserve pool for either of the below competitions.

• Tuesday's will be Men’s Doubles. The semi-finals and finals of the suspended Autumn comp will be played in December.
• Thursday's will be Unisex Doubles. Divisions will be assigned based on standard. Where possible, mixed pairs will play against other mixed pairs.

For Both Competitions -

• You may enter as a pair, a team of up to 4 players (only 2 will play each week) or an individual and I will find you a partner. You may also list yourself as a reserve.
• All players must be double-vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to round 1. Players who achieve double-vaccinated status after round 1 may join the reserve pool at that time.
• If you enter as a pair or a team you may choose a team name. Otherwise the name will just be the first names of all players listed.
• The entry fee will be $100 per team ($50 per player if you enter as a pair). There will be no weekly fee.
• There will be a small prize for the winners. However, this is really about getting on the court and having a hit.
• The match format will be best of 3 sets with the third set being a match tie-breaker (first to 10 points).
• The finals week will be 1v2 to determine the winner and runner-up. 3v4 will play off for 3^rd place and 5v6 for 5^th if applicable.
• All matches will be played at Wests Tennis Club. Most matches will commence at 7pm. Some matches may commence at 8:30pm if required.
• The court is booked for 90 minutes. If you finish early you can swap the players around and play until your time expires.
• 2 new balls will be provided by Tennis Macarthur for each match.
