Wednesday Night Singles Comp
Join us for Wednesday Nights—the perfect blend of Singles and Doubles!
This is a unisex, ability-based competition played in teams of two. Whether you’re a power hitter or a strategic player, this format is designed to give you plenty of variety and a great mid-week workout.
Format: Each match consists of 5 sets, each player will play an opposing team of:
- 1 x set of doubles (to start the night)
- 2 x sets of singles
- 1 point will be awarded to the winning team in each set
- 2 bonus points will be awarded to the team winning the most sets on the night
When: Wednesday Night's at Wests Tennis Centre
Time: From 7.30pm - 10.00pm (any set not completed by 10.30pm hard finish time will share the winning points)
Key Info: The night kicks off with one doubles set to get everyone warmed up, followed by four sets of singles—ensuring each player gets two singles matches. By utilising two courts for the singles, we expect matches to wrap up around 10:00 pm. Please note that any set not completed by the 10:30 pm hard finish time will result in shared points.
Everything is managed through Match Centre, so tracking your stats and ladder position is easy. Invoicing is handled via our player portal for a hassle-free experience.
Fees & Prizes:
- Entry Fee: $20 per player ($40 per team) - invoiced in our player portal.
- Weekly Fee: $17 per player.
- The Reward: Winning team will take home $140 prize money (or choose clothing/trophies)!
