Tennis Macarthur Terms & Conditions 2024

Tennis purposes only

The tennis courts at the Wests Tennis Centre venue are only to be used for the purpose of recreational tennis. Professional coaching on the tennis courts may not take place, other than by approved persons, who have the prior written agreement by Tennis Macarthur.

Basket Policy

Tennis Macarthur has a "no basket" policy for all players other than Junior Tennis Members that have requested permission to use it with their own parent.

If you are a Tennis Macarthur Junior Member and wish to use a basket with your parent, please email your request to tamara@tennismacarthur.com.au and your request will be reviewed.

Successful requests will be issued a laminated sign to be applied to your basket acknowledging this approval. Approval is for 12 calendar months from date of approval.

Access to the venue

Access to the tennis courts will only be permitted for the court, date, and time specified within your booking confirmation. You will be provided with a PIN enabling access to the court. You must enter the PIN + ENTER on the pin pad of the smart lock at the gate of the court you have specified for use in your booking.

Cancellations

Tennis Macarthur maintains the authority to cancel any court bookings due to weather, tennis court maintenance, or any other business-related issues. If a cancellation occurs, a credit will be issued to your player account via Hello Club. We are committed to providing you with advanced notice whenever possible and do our best to coordinate a new booking date that works for you.

You can change or cancel your booking up to four hours before your booking time, through the Hello Club portal, after which you will receive a credit to the value of your booking automatically.

Booking fees will be forfeited for cancellations/changes within four hours of the booking time. 

Overtime

It is the responsibility of the hirer to vacate the court at the end of their booking. You may extend your booking by adding a new booking via Hello Club. Penalties will apply for overstaying your paid booking time.

Wet Weather

We do not refund or credit bookings for light rain, when coaching or competition is still going ahead. The Wests Tennis Courts drain and dry quickly. It is at the discretion of Tennis Macarthur to issue credit in the event of rain.

In the event of medium to heavy rain, before your court booking, Tennis Macarthur will credit your court booking to your Hello Club Member Profile. You must call or text Tam | 0478 222 060 to claim your credit. If medium to heavy rain occurs 30 minutes into your court booking, we will issue a full credit for the court booking. If medium to heavy rain occurs after 30 minutes into your booking, there will not be a credit for the booking as the booking stands.

Footwear

All users must wear appropriate tennis footwear when using the tennis courts at the venue.

Player Etiquette

Please take all your rubbish with you and leave the tennis courts and facilities tidy for the following players to use and enjoy. All players should be respectful of others and not to cause a disturbance to others, the use of speakers for playing music is not permitted whilst competitions or tournaments are being played at the venue. Try to keep noise on the court to a minimum. Smoking is not permitted within the venue, including on the tennis courts.

Risk Warning

You acknowledge that by using the tennis courts you will be exposed to certain risks, including the risk of physical injury, and that use of the tennis courts is entirely at your own risk. You have voluntarily read and understood this risk warning and accept and assume the inherent risks in the use of the tennis courts.
